What We Believe
Statement of Faith
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal God, uncreated yet Creator, the Alpha and Omega, the I Am, the way, the truth, and the life, the Savior, the King of kings, Lord of lords, and the eternal Lamb of God, the Life of the believer and His corporate people, the rightful heir of His Father, and the establisher of the eternal purpose of God.
God is Trinity as unveiled and revealed in the holy Scriptures through the person of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. The Godhead is one Spirit and yet three eternal distinct persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, which has been and remains a true mystery, but that God has clearly revealed it.
Jesus was born of Mary as a human infant. He lived a perfect sinless life. He was the second and last Adam, who has been sent forth from God the Father to offer reconciliation and salvation to all who will put their faith in Him. Each person must be born again or they cannot see the Kingdom of God and Heaven. Jesus Christ alone is the way, truth, and life. No one can come to the Father except through Him.
God established His church through the physical death, burial, and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ, the eternal Lamb of God. Christ is the singular head of His body (the church) and the church is His people gathered spiritually by being born-again into the life of Christ. Thus the church is not a single group, denomination, or tradition, but a spiritual people gathered in His life, name, and spirit.
Heaven is literal, eternal, and spiritual. It is the realm of God’s eternal throne from which He rules all of His vast creation.
For the believer in Christ, to be absent from the body means they are present with the Lord. Jesus Christ is the resurrection of the believer. Physical death is not annihilation for the believer or the unbeliever, but an eternal step into the eternal realms which, for the true believer, is into God’s continuing eternal purpose and reality.
Hell is a literal and eternal place. All humans who refuse to put their faith in Jesus Christ choose instead this place of eternal torment and separation from Him. It is the eternal place of separation and torment for all beings who rebel against God, including Satan.
All of mankind has been separated from God through the sin of Adam and Eve, the first man and woman who were the beginning of human creation. Their sin allowed sin nature to enter into themselves and be passed onto and through their offspring, the human race. All mankind have sinned except Jesus Christ.
At the appointed hour, which only God knows, Jesus Christ will return in physical form to this earth. He is the Lamb of God returning to establish His eternal throne and kingdom. He will then rule and reign on a new earth over all creation with His bride/wife as defined in the Holy Scriptures.
The Christian Bible is composed exclusively of 66 books which are the inspired Holy Scriptures, the written word of God, which proclaims and testifies to the eternal Word of God, Jesus Christ Himself.
